- Treasurer’s report and accounts for the year ending 31st March 2015
JB reported that overall receipts during the past year had totalled approximately £15,000, of which £4000 was received through grants and donations, and the remainder from the hire of the hall, and various fund raising efforts by the village. There was a small deficit at the end of the year, but this was due to cost of the extensive refurbishments to the hall amounting to over £12,000.
JB produced a budget for the year based on last year’s figures, but it was agreed that we may have to fund some extensive repairs to the flat roof in the Village Hall and also the removal/possible replacement of the pavilion.
The accounts were proposed by Caroline Butler and seconded by Trudi Butcher.
