MINUTES OF AN ORDINARY MEETING OF THE PARISH COUNCIL
HELD IN THE JUBILEE HALL ON MONDAY 18 MAY, 2015
AT 8.15 p.m.

Councillor Alex Dick reported that one villain suspected of much local crime was in police custody. He was pleased to report that there has been a fall in crime in the immediate area.
Footpaths and byways:
Councillor Colin Butler advised that no problems had been reported.
In view of Veolia’s reluctance to collect the dog waste sacks from the recreation ground the Clerk was asked to confirm the arrangements for weekly collections which WBC was offering at a cost of £40.70 p.a. for each bin. He was also asked to investigate the cost of putting two purpose built dog waste bins on the recreation ground to replace the existing open bins.
It was agreed that the Clerk should report the potholes on the bend in Flowers Piece to WBC.
Planning Applications update:
15/00511 Extension and alterations at Ashampstead Lodge. Objection submitted regarding use of render rather hanging tiles, awaiting decision from WBC.
Bus shelter: Former Councillor David Mountain provided a brief summary of the position with regard to the planning application It was agreed that David should submit the further information required by WBC on behalf of the Council.
