2015 Food Fair Review

Brilliant sunny day for Ashampstead Food Fair. The Food Fair Team raised over £1100 for the Village Hall Fund. The stalls looked splendid and visitors has plenty to look at.

Many thanks to Caroline Butler, Jackie Lomas, Zaz Worth, Trudi Butcher and all of the FOOD FAIR Planners and helpers who did such a splendid job in organising this year’s event. A few photographs below but to see more visit the Village Hall Facebook Page:

Last but not least. thankyou to all the stallholders who made the day. Here are links to those who have web-sites:

The second Ashampstead Food Fair, held on Saturday, 18th April, was a great success.  Despite there being fewer people (Reading playing at home had something to do with this!), it was still a very good event with some excellent stallholders.  In case you would like to revisit any of them, their details are below:

We were lucky with the weather again, despite the rather strong winds, and people seemed to have a good time stocking up on some unusual foods, plants and gifts, whilst tucking into bacon and sausage butties from the barbecue and liquid refreshment from the tea stall or the Ashampstead Arms, our very own pop-up pub.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, the event made a final profit of £1,129.81, which will go towards the upkeep of the Village Hall.
